Summary

Violence against women is the most pervasive human rights violation on earth. Worldwide, at least one in three women is a victim of gender-based violence during her lifetime. It occurs in every country, culture, religion, and class. But around the globe, women are joining forces and speaking out, advocating for new laws, and developing successful strategies to eradicate gender-based violence. The 40-minute video captures the accounts of women activists who are fighting to end violence against women, and who are forging new paths for women’s security and progress.
