Summary

This documentary film explores the rise of the fundamentalist political movement in the moderate Islamic society of Morocco in the early years of the US War on Terror, prior to the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Justice and Spirituality is a fundamentalist political group founded by Sheikh Abdul Salam Yasin that is gained popular support in reaction to the perceived negative influence of Western values. Pressure from the West to curb their influence only produces more support for the fundamentalists and rising anger at the repression of their freedom of speech.

Dialogue is in French, Arabic, and English and presented without subtitles.
