Women leaders from across the world will examine ways of improving the status of women worldwide in light of the achievements of the women’s movement in the last decades of the 20th century.
Questions to be discussed include:
- How do we recreate ourselves and our movement to bring about not only sustainable but equitable development across the globe?
- How do we strengthen a universal human rights agenda through culturally nuanced communication and implementation?
- How do we avoid the pitfalls of globalization and maximize the potential of the information revolution?
