Economic Rights

For the CSW68, Women's Learning Partnership convened civil society leaders and experts to discuss strategies to advance women's economic security, including legal reform, skills-building and leadership workshops, community cooperatives, agricultural networks, and more.

In May 2021, Morocco adopted a New Development Model, which outlines comprehensive reforms in education, health, agriculture, investment, and taxation. In response to the report, which was authored by a male-dominated committee, the Democratic Association of Women in Morocco (ADFM) has submitted an Appeal for the report to be gender-inclusive and respect civil society and human rights.
