Aruna Rao

Co-Founder and Executive Director, Gender at Work

Aruna Rao (India/USA) is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Gender at Work and a former leader of the BRAC Gender Team in Bangladesh. She served as the Population Council’s Asia Regional Coordinator for Gender and Development in Bangkok. She also has served on the boards of Gender at Work, CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation, and the Association for Women’s Rights in Development.
