Learn about women’s rights leaders who are sharing their aspirations and their stories of activism.

Advancing rights happens over time. In keeping with WLP’s practice of learning from the past to plan for the future, we are making available our collection of interviews with activists, academics, government officials, and civil society leaders who have made, and are continuing to make, strides towards realizing women’s equality. In the interviews, the women discuss a wide range of topics relating to the global women’s rights movements. These include:

  • Women, peace and security
  • Religion and women’s rights
  • Technology and social change
  • Advocacy campaigns
  • Movement building

Our interview collection covers over a decade’s worth of news media broadcasts and stand-alone interviews on historical events, human rights campaigns, and WLP activities.

Under development: Our forthcoming Witness Series will feature testimony from contemporary women who have been affected by discriminatory family laws. Our forthcoming WLP Podcast will present interviews with women leaders on 21st century global feminist issues.
