How We Do It

WLP is a learning partnership. Together, we and our partners create curricula for workshops and a range of educational resources that include manuals, books, and films. We use the learning tools we create to engage in training, capacity building, and advocacy with our partners and their constituents as we work toward our shared vision for women’s progress.

See our impact

WLP’s activities and programs are interrelated and build upon each other. Our resources and curricula provide the framework for our trainings. The trainings are developed through peer-to-peer exchanges with our partners. The peer-to-peer exchanges build the capacities of our partners. And the increased capacity of our partners enables our ongoing collaboration on advocacy campaigns across the partnership.

Our manuals, books, training resources, and documentary films are developed in response to our partners’ priorities, but they can be easily adapted for a range of needs and circumstances. In addition to the content we create, we make available films, books, and research papers, and other materials that were created externally. WLP’s learning resources can be used by anyone, and are available, free for download, in our Learning Center.

Advocacy-ADFM Spring of Dignity March to End VAW
Our advocacy activities help local and regional campaigns reach wider audiences globally. We connect local and regional activists to strengthen their efforts and amplify their voices. And we introduce activists from the Global South to decision-makers at the UN and at other national and international centers of power.
