Root Causes of Women’s Economic Inequality: Discriminatory Family Laws

WLP will bring together leading women's rights advocates for a discussion on reforming discriminatory family laws that limit women’s access to financial independence and stability, including inheritance laws, property rights, early marriage, travel restrictions, access to education, and more. Panelists will share their experiences in successful legal reforms and discuss strategies for building coalitions for change.

"Amman Principles" for the National Mechanisms for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment

Panelists will discuss a new study titled "Amman Principles," which shares ways to strengthen the evaluation of government programs and policies that advance gender equality.

 

Women's Rights in Morocco 25+1 Years after Beijing

ADFM will present a report on the implementation of the Beijing Declaration in Morocco, 26 years after the 1995 World Conference on Women, and reflect on the country's progress towards gender equality.

Equality in Family Law: Committing to Reform
