After working for decades to ensure their rights to education, freedom of movement, job opportunities, political representation and more, women in Afghanistan are facing the sudden reversal of their rights and security. On December 8, in the lead up to International Human Rights Day, a panel of human rights and policy experts discussed how cultural dialogue and policy-making at the local and global level can support the rights and security of women in vulnerable societies.
