From March 11-22, 2024, government officials, international policy leaders, and civil society activists convened in New York for the 68th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68).  At the CSW68, Member States will make commitments to accelerate gender equality by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective.

List of Recommendations for Member States

Ahead of the CSW, WLP convened representatives of our partner organizations from 14 countries to discuss the strategies, recommendations, and needs of CSOs who are supporting women’s economic rights. WLP published their recommendations for Member States at the CSW68 on how governments should address the legal and social challenges facing women’s economic participation and security.
