Destination America is a four-part documentary series produced by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting about what has driven men and women from all over the world to immigrate to America for centuries — economic opportunity, religious freedom and artistic expression. Breaking Free: A Woman's Journey, is the fourth and final episode in the series, and focuses on the particular social and political forces that drive women's emigration to America.
