Four Takeaways from WLP’s Annual Gathering of Global Partners
Each year, representatives from WLP meet to reflect on their work, analyze issues facing women’s rights advocates, and plan for the future of the global partnership. This annual event—called the Transnational Partners Convening (TPC)—is an opportunity for the women leaders around the world that make up the Partnership to connect with one another and collaborate on strategies for gender equality.
Refugee Women and WLP Activists Build Advocacy Skills for Peace and Security
In September 2018, activists from six countries in the Middle East and Africa convened in Beirut for a workshop on women, peace, and security. The event, which was hosted by WLP Lebanon/CRTD-A, created a multinational network of advocates to bring women to peacebuilding.
