From November 25 to December 10, 2016, WLP partners from all over the globe will organize and participate in workshops, film screenings, and events during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. This global awareness-raising campaign gives voice to the discrimination and violence that women face globally, and to women's actions and successes in claiming their rights.
Aurat Foundation, WLP’s partner in Pakistan, trained 14 women and eight men from diverse backgrounds on gender issues during its National Training of Trainers from June 16 to 21. The workshop will assist activists in reaching out to local youth and tribal women.
