Professor of International and Comparative Law on Women’s Human Rights at Georgetown University School of Law
Professor Susan Deller Ross teaches International and Comparative Law on Women’s Human Rights at Georgetown University School of Law. She also founded and currently directs the International Women’s Human Rights Clinic through Georgetown in 1998. The clinic facilitates partnerships between law students and women’s NGOs in the Global South to facilitate human rights. Previously, she was Special Councel for Sex Discrimination Litigation at the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, and before that the Clinical Director of the ACLU’s Women’s Rights Project. She has published groundbreaking books including Women’s Human Rights: The International and Comparative Law Casebook (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2008).
