Haleh Vaziri (USA) is an expert analyst on global affairs who focuses on the Middle East and North Africa region. She has co-authored and edited several of WLP’s publications including Leading to Choices: A Leadership Training Handbook for Women, Victories over Violence: The Practitioner’s Guide to Safety for Women and Girls, and Strategizing for Democracy: Challenges and Opportunities for Women in the MENA Region. Vaziri founded VRMC, a firm advising a diverse clientele on issues of democratization, international media markets, and public diplomacy vis-à-vis aspects of the research management process—proposal preparation, questionnaire design, analytic writing, presentations, conference planning and curriculum development. Previously, she was a research manager at the InterMedia Survey Institute. In that role, she supervised and trained qualitative and survey field work teams throughout the MENA region. Vaziri holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from Georgetown University.
