Each year, WLP representatives from around the world attend the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York City. This annual event convened by the United Nations reviews progress on global gender equality and sets priorities and policies for the advancement of women's rights. On March 11, 2019, the sixty-third CSW will commence with the theme "social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls."
WLP partner organizations will be organizing and attending a number of events throughout this two-week gathering. We will be adding additional details about our activities in the coming weeks, so check back frequently for updated information.
